CONNECTING THE DOTS OF A SCADA SYSTEM

TOPIC: In this hands-on workshop, attendees will learn about the basic building blocks of a SCADA system. Attendees will learn about field devices, PLCs and Graphical User Interfaces.  We will spend time wiring a field device to a PLC, programming the field device in the PLC, and creating a graphical display to show the value of the field device.   We will conclude discussing the current options for remote connectivity and the security considerations with remote connection.

REGISTRATION & HOURS: Registration begins at 7:30am. The training will start at 8:00am and will conclude by 12:00pm. Earn up to 4 Professional Development Hours (PDH's) for engineers or Renewal Training Credit (RTC) hours for water operators. Continental breakfast will be included.
