Calling ALL Ladies!

ISAWWA is excited to introduce Women in Water!  We seek to serve women working in all aspects of ONE water (drinking, waste, storm, and reuse).  Women in Water’s mission is to empower women working in this industry by inviting them into a safe and comfortable environment to mentor and be mentored, develop a woman-to-woman support network, and engage in woman-centered educational and leadership development opportunities.

Our committee is growing rapidly and we are so excited to share that we are making great strides toward our first goal of establishing a WIW mentoring program!  Please stay tuned for more details.

If you would like to join Women in Water you have two options:

1- you can join the Women in Water group by clicking on the "request membership" link on the upper right hand corner of this page.  Joining the group will allow you to connect with other women in the industry, attend WIW hosted events, and receive WIW updates without having to join the working committee.

2- you can join the Women in Water working committee by completing this online informational form.  Joining the committee will allow you to actively participate in planning WIW activities and events and complete the work necessary to accomplish committee goals.

To learn more about the WIW committee check out our WIW Committee Sheet and our WIW Benefits Flyer. If you have further questions, please contact Brianna Huber at

Meet the women in water!

Each month we will be adding profiles of Women in Water committee members and other women working in the Illinois water industry.  Check out our WIW Profiles page to learn more about these amazing women!

ISAWWA WIW has partnered with Lean In to help women across the state connect, network, and support each other.  Visit our Lean In Partnership page to learn more.
