Summary: The Stage 2 DBPR presents a number of challenges to all water systems. Many consecutive systems are not designed to handle current regulations, however all must comply by the same rules. There are multiple ways to reduce DBP's in your water system but how do you comply when you don't have a treatment plant, and even more importantly, you don't know what quality water you are getting?
Over the past few years we have seen and number of water systems across the country struggling to comply with Stage 2. With lab testing taking up to 2 weeks and by then the source water has changed, how do you manage what’s going on in the network? This paper will look at some of the options available to you and show how real time data can give you a more accurate picture of what is going on in your network.
